Launching production line for kid’s tablet
During a ceremony in Khorramshahr, with the presence of the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, a brand-new tablet was unveiled.
Following the proper and successful action of Anarestan on distributing of kids SIM cards, the production of tablet PCs was another important step that should be taken to manage cyberspace for children and adolescents. The great work that needs to be supported by the government and relevant organs to develop and expand it.
During the ceremony which the executives of Mobile Telecommunication Company of Iran, Anarestan, Amin SSD, and a group of officials and directors of Khuzestan province also present, a large annual production project of 500,000 tablets and mobile phones for kids began. It’s expected that nearly 5000 direct and indirect jobs will be created.
Mohammad Javad Azari Jahromi, speaking at a ceremony to unveil the tablet line with Nartab, said: “Today, cybercrime risks for all ages are the same. That is, a child faces the same dangers that can sometimes destroys an adult. This is an international concern, so many countries have protocols to manage using internet and cyberspace in the sphere of children and adolescents. Our goal is to provide tools to help parents to manage cyberspace for children. They should manage in such a way that children and adolescents have access to the internet cyberspace on an age-appropriate basis.
